Government forces push towards Karan district

The transitional government forces have pushed towards the Karan district today forcing the rebels to flee.
Military spokesman said government forces attacked insurgent base near the old stadium.  He added we came close to capturing Kaysane hospital but had to pull back as the area is ridden with mines and bubby trapped.
