Government claims victory against Islamic militants

The transitional federal government of Somalia has today claimed victory against Islamic militants (Al Shabab) in parts of the Somali capital of Mogadishu.
The fighting between the two sides continued in several districts in the capital in which 5 people were killed while dozens more were wounded during overnight clashes.
